Beachclubs and Beaches

Strandperle

(Strandperle / ThisIsJulia Photography)

This is as close as it gets to the water – so dig your feet into the sand and enjoy. The Strandperle is not a beach club but a bar right on a natural Elbe beach. This is where not only tourists flock, but also families, dog owners, pensioners and students, i.e. basically anyone looking to enjoy a day on the beach in the heart of the city.

28° Strandbad Wedel

(Beachclub Wedel / imagefoto.de)

Situated just outside the city boundaries, Wedel beach is well worth the trip, for the atmosphere here is even more relaxed than in the city beach clubs. Long queues at the bar are not an issue here. As the sun disappears behind the trees at 7pm, you can spend a relaxed evening with your feet dug into the fine white sand that has been brought here from the Baltic Sea.
