The World as a Stage - Hamburg's Popscene
Rock'n'roll fever sweats under the low ceiling of the Molotow, through the big window of the bar Hasenschaukel Folk and Country sounds can be heard and at the Spielbudenplatz newcomer bands suprise tourists walking by with their songs - once a year the district St. Pauli turns into a live stage during the Reeperbahnfestival. Thus each year at the end of september Hamburg's most famous district St. Pauli offers the perfect venue for the livemusic-festival.
Kampnagel - Center for International Performing Arts
Kampnagel is an old, 1865 established, engineering works in Hamburg-Winterhude, that is used as a venue for modern performing arts. Since 2007 Amelie Deuflhard is the artistic director of the culture factory. Besides international guest plays, the performance scene and free groups like She She Pop, Gob Squad, Showcase Beat Le Mot and others find a stage here.
